Convincing technical design
This is where the heart of the toolmaker beats faster: particularly robustly built, torsionally rigid and low-vibration milling machines in industrial quality, especially for tool and mould making. The main feature of the WFM models is their design with driven milling head slide and with a vertical table driven in the X and Z axis. This can be used as a clamping surface for large workpieces. For standard applications a milling table is mounted, an adjustable swivel table is available as an option.
The WFM models are equipped with manual, automatic and rapid feeds in all three axes. They can be converted in a few simple steps from a vertical milling machine for drilling tools, face and end mills to a horizontal milling machine for disc and shell end mills. All conversion parts are included in delivery. Due to highest precision, the WFM models are equipped with a tank in the machine base and a digital position indicator SINO when using a dividing head or rotary table. Model differences exist in the speed and power range and in the milling table size.
