Unique "2 in 1" concept
The swivel head of the UFM 125 and UFM 125 GT can be adjusted to almost any angle and, in addition to normal face and end milling operations, enables the machining of fitting surfaces and grooves in difficult spatial situations. For face milling large workpiece surfaces, both machines can be converted to a horizontal milling machine in just a few steps - the UFM 125 can be converted to a horizontal milling machine - the UFM 125 with horizontal spindle on the swivel head, the more powerful UFM 125 GT with its own horizontal spindle mount on the machine column. Thanks to the high drive power of 2,200 or 3,000 watts, the machines are suitable for face milling cutter diameters of up to 125 or 150 mm. Both machines are equipped with an automatic cross table feed of the X and Y axis and a rapid feed of the Z axis for fast table positioning. 11 (12) speed steps and 9 or 8 feed steps offer sufficient scope for optimizing the cutting speed.

Central lubrication of the guideways for rapid availability and a coolant system with tank in the machine base are very advantageous. The UFM 125 is ideally suited for single and small series processing. For continuous continuous operation and larger workpieces, the UFM 125 GT model is recommended due to its more robust design and larger cross table.
