The RSBM models with a drilling capacity of 30 to 100 mm allow flexible positioning of the drilling tool along a height-adjustable boom. For distance drilling, time-consuming re-clamping can be largely eliminated. The RSBMs are therefore an ideal solution for drilling, reaming and threading large workpieces, such as steel beams, welded structures or castings - ideal for variable use in steel and mechanical engineering as well as for casting finishing. A particularly good area of application is the distortion-free machining of heavy plates in boiler and industrial furnace construction, e.g. for the manufacture of heat exchanger and pipe support plates.
