ELMAG PROFI TIG AC DC WELDING INVERTER 'PFC'
Product Highlights ELMAG PROFI TIG AC DC WELDING INVERTER 'PFC'.
CEBORA HIGH-END WELDING INVERTER: Metals with an oxide layer, such as aluminium, are welded with alternating current at the negative pole to open the metal surface and clean the weld pool of oxides. The universally applicable WIN TIG AC-DC 180 M welding inverter offers a switchover function from direct to alternating current and enables professional processing of aluminium, magnesium, brass, etc. The compliance with the EN 61000-3-12 regulation assures a significant reduction of energy consumption and a large tolerance of the supply voltage (+15% / -20%). Furthermore, this allows the power source to be operated with power generators (min. 8 kVA).

Technical facts ELMAG PROFI TIG-AC-DC-WELDING INVERTER 'PFC
- NEW: 1-button operation and intuitive LCD colour display
- TIG CYCLE: Fully definable welding cycle
- Activ-Power-Control (APC) welding process for achieving colder weld beads
- TIG spot welding functions for optimum tacking without tarnishing with minimum heat input
- Interval welding function enables welds with optimum heat input and penetration depth
- High pulse frequencies allow a welding arc to be focused more closely on the area to be welded (0.16 Hz to 2.5 KHz)
- Different pulse arcs for welding with concentrated arc for optimal welding & spot welding results
- Different types of arc ignition allow the user to adapt the welder to his own TIG welding technique and to be extremely precise
- APC function: This new function allows the welding current to be automatically adjusted to the arc height in order to obtain a constant molten pool at a high welding speed and minimal deformation of the component
- AC-DC TIG welding process: Suitable for welding aluminium and its alloys, with the DC component of this welding process we get more penetration and higher welding speed with less deformation of the component.
- XP-TIG welding process (extra power): Enables welding of thin materials and provides better welding results on thin-walled profile edges as well as corner welds
- AC-MMA welding process for welding stick electrodes on magnetised sheets. It is normally used for maintenance work and wherever high penetration welding is not required.
- Up to 9 welding programmes can be stored
