ELMAG PROFI 1000/165 Universal lathe

The PROFI 1000/165 is a tried and tested universal lathe for small to medium requirements, appreciated by cutting technicians, machine fitters and mechanics. It offers a turning size via slides of Ø 198 x 1,000 mm, a turning diameter up to 330 mm and a spindle bore Ø 38 mm for bar machining up to 1 inch (33.7 mm). Thanks to a turning spindle foot brake to reduce non-productive time and an integrated coolant system, the PROFI 1000/165 is well suited for flexible single part and small batch production. High process and work safety is ensured by a spindle protection against simultaneous use of the lead and feed spindles, a position stop against lathe chuck collision, a lathe chuck protection with safety switch, a zero voltage release and an emergency stop button.

The PROFI 1000/165 is 1,500 Watt motorized, has eight speed levels from 70 to 2,000 rpm and 20 longitudinal and cross feeds - enough capacity for slow knurling, coarse finishing and for high precision in fine finishing or machining of non-ferrous metals. Up to 63 feeds for metric or inch threads can be set with a few simple adjustments. The machine is very well equipped for a quick plug & play start.
