Our universal lathes and lathes with infinitely variable speed control of the PREMIUM CU series have a wide range of features and accessories for customers in a wide range of industries. The PREMIUM CU series allows the cutting speed to be precisely matched to the material and turning diameter - particularly advantageous for non-ferrous metals, plastics and for the perfect surface finish on precision parts and fits. Interesting special features are the R/L control units attached to the tool slides, through which the clockwise or anti-clockwise rotation of the turning spindle is controlled in a simple way. They replace the switching shafts commonly used on universal lathes. Efficient handling is provided by electromechanical spindle brakes for super-fast turning spindle stops. The lead screws are equipped with overload protection.
