The new PREMIUM CU 325 RD-Vario with infinitely variable Vario-Speed speed control and digital speed display enables the cutting speed to be precisely matched to the material and turning diameter - particularly advantageous for non-ferrous metals, plastics and for the perfect surface finish on precision parts and fits.

The CU 325 RD is driven by a 2,200 Watt motor and delivers 85 - 405 and 470 - 2,200 rpm from two speed ranges. The machine offers a maximum turning diameter of 325 mm, a turning size via slides of Ø 190 x 1,000 mm and a spindle bore Ø 32 mm (3/4 inch bar stock Ø 26.9 mm). An interesting special feature is the R/L control unit mounted on the tool slide, by means of which the right or left-hand rotation of the turning spindle is easily controlled. It replaces the indexing shaft normally used on universal lathes. An electromechanical spindle brake provides efficient handling
for super-fast spindle stop. The leading spindle is equipped with overload protection.

The PREMIUM CU 325 RD is supplied with a high-quality RÖHM chuck Ø 160 mm and with a quick-change steel holder for quick turning blade change.
