Tech info: Two-stage piston compressors
A two-stage compressor has two cylinders arranged in series, which compress the air to the final pressure in two stages. In between, the compressed air is cooled with air. This improves efficiency, while at the same time a higher pressure can be achieved than with a single-stage compressor.
