The universal lathes INDUSTRIE 330 and 400 are the right answer when it comes to the precise machining of extra heavy, large machine, steel, container construction and cast iron parts. With six top models of this powerful machine class ELMAG offers a perfect selection. Impressive figures: Maximum turning diameter depending on model 660 or 800 mm, without bridge 860 or 1,000 mm, turning size via slide 435 or 545 x 1,500/2,000/3,000 mm, spindle bore Ø 103 mm for bar stock up to Ø 3 1/2 inch. A super-strong drive unit delivers 7,500 watts of power for an easily switchable high-performance spindle gear with 18 or 6 speed steps in clockwise or counter-clockwise direction. Oil pressure lubrication ensures highest precision and smooth running of the turning spindle. The feed gear offers 54 longitudinal and cross feeds and 216 thread pitches. Both gears are equipped with oil bath. All gear wheels are made of hardened chrome-nickel steel, are precision ground, have a particularly long service life and run quietly. Super-hard, precision-ground prismatic guides (> HB 400) carry a heavy tool slide, as required. Thanks to a rapid traverse motor, it can be moved effortlessly and quickly. The feed spindle is switched via an adjustable slipping clutch. The solid tailstock is moved by means of a crank drive and has an adjusting device for the quill feed.

The INDUSTRIE 330 and 400 models are very well equipped for a plug & play start, including a quick-change toolholder set for quick tool change and a digital position display from SINO for highest precision and efficiency in single part and series production.
