Thanks to their good performance data and optimum equipment, the proven INDUSTRIE 250 models are among the favourites of the turning specialist and toolmaker. The ideal design with self-centering turning spindle, a 5,500 watt powerful drive motor and a super massive tailstock allow turning sizes via slides of Ø 325 x 1,000, 1,500 or 2,000 mm. Maximum turning diameter is 500 mm, without bridge 630 mm. A spindle bore of Ø 65 mm offers space for 2 inch bar stock (60.3 mm).

The INDUSTRIE 250 models are very well suited for series production. They are the first in their class to feature an electromechanical foot brake for an extremely fast turning spindle stop. An adjustable slip clutch on the tool slide protects the traction and lead screw from overload. An adjustable longitudinal stop ensures precise feed stop and protects against lathe chuck collision. A coolant tank with pump is integrated in the machine base. Thanks to the standard equipment with a quick-change tool holder set for quick tool change and with a digital position indicator from SINO, the Industrial 250 models are ideally suited for efficient serial production of precision parts.
