The quality of the INDUSTRIE 230 HD models becomes clear as soon as they are switched on: Barely audible drive noise. No vibrations at large cutting depths. In fact, the 230 HD models are the heaviest in their class with 2,635, 2,835 and 3,055 kg, respectively, and thanks to their extremely robust construction - e.g. high-frequency hardened prismatic guides - they are ideally suited for heavy-duty and continuous operation.

The 230 HD offers an extra large spindle bore of 80 mm for machining bar stock up to 2 1/2 inches in diameter (76.1 mm). A turning size via slides of Ø 290 x 1,000, 1,500 or 2,000 mm and a maximum turning diameter of 460 or 700 mm leave nothing to be desired for machine, steel, plant and tool construction - as well as 12 speeds for 170 longitudinal and cross feeds and 150 lead screw pitches for metric and inch threads*. Special advantage: No external change gears, but a conveniently operated counter gear on the gear housing. The tool slide of the 230 HD models is equipped with a time-saving feed and cut-off mechanism and a three-stage setting shaft. An adjustable feed spindle slipping clutch protects against overload. A mechanical turning spindle foot brake and a coolant system complete the picture of this high performance machine.

All 230 HD models are very extensively equipped and are supplied with a quick-change toolholder set for rapid tool change and a digital position indicator from SINO.
