Smart punch
The EKN 6 is a compact, high-speed shearing machine for cutting, notching, mitre and angle cutting of flat steel, thin to heavy plate. The centre of the machine is the hydraulically driven punching blade. 200 x 200 mm in size, special steel hardened and ground, with extra strong punching frame, automatic cutting gap adjustment and adjustable punching stroke. The workpiece is held securely by four hydraulic hold-down devices behind safe Plexiglas. Working pressure 200 bar, maintenance-free hydraulics from Hoerbiger.
Robust industrial design
The EKN 6 notching machine consists of a robust, durable steel construction. The bending moment that occurs during punching work is dissipated via statically and dynamically stabilised support beams. The robust steel work table offers a finely ground surface optimised for workpiece handling with recessed brass rulers, T-slots and adjustable side stops.
Easy to operate
The cutting angle is set from 30° to 140° using two handwheels, the punching process is triggered at the machine or at the foot pedal on the control column.
