Product Highlights ELMAG EPS 125, straight with long spindle DL-impact wrench 1'
ELMAG EPS
The cutting-edge EPS models are highly ergonomic high-tech products for trade, commerce and industry, but also for private workshops and garages.
EPS TECHNOLOGY
Developed in the technical laboratory under real-life conditions, EPS air tools are characterised by outstanding technical perfection.
Tight manufacturing tolerances, self-centring, precision-ground air motors and high-precision quality bearings from leading brand manufacturers ensure improved running smoothness, optimised air consumption and maximum product performance.
EPS SAFETY
Pneumatic tools are the safest powered tools. They generally offer significantly more safety than electric tools and are also more ergonomic than them. Without an electric motor, a more manageable and user-friendly design is possible and - what is particularly advantageous - there is no risk of electric shock or explosion. In addition, air tools can be used safely even in wet environments.
Even when blocking, e.g. an air drill, there is no risk of injury. Only one sixth of the reverse torque acts on the handle, whereas with an electric drill it increases several times over.
EPS pneumatic tools are CE-compliant. They are equipped with safety switches and, where necessary, protective covers.
CARE AND OPERATION
Built for continuous use under the toughest conditions, DL tools require a minimum of care. Provided clean and dry (condensate-free) compressed air is used as the drive medium. Water residues cause corrosion and thus damage to the air motor and components. Compressed air treated by refrigeration dryers and filters is optimal.
By the way - compressed air must be oiled! It is easiest to use maintenance units, automatic oilers or inline oilers. It is advisable to add a few drops of ELMAG oiler oil directly into the air connection opening before and after each working day or before longer breaks.
EXHAUST
With every tool driven by compressed air, the air must be exhausted from the tool. In the case of high-quality tools (e.g. EPS impact wrenches), it is discharged inside the tool through the handle or the housing. This prevents extreme dust generation (e.g. from brake dust when changing wheels) at the workplace.
OPERATING PRESSURE
Operating underpressure:
An air pressure that is set too low reduces the speed and thus the performance of pneumatic tools.
Operating overpressure:
An operating pressure that is too high increases the performance but also the speed of the air tool and can lead to overstressing of both the insert tool (e.g. the grinding wheel) and the air tool.
Ideal pressure setting >> Therefore, set an operating pressure of 6.3 bar on your compressor by means of the pressure regulator.
