A light and precise press brake with three automatic drive axes is sufficient for the economically favourable production of most press brake parts. The hydraulic vertical axes (Y1, Y2) must be precisely synchronised and the backgauge (X) should be equipped with a fast electric drive and precise ball screws.
BENDING PERFORMANCE CUSTOMISED
The longer the bent parts are, the greater the bending capacity must be. ECO BEND models are available with a bending capacity of 80 to 200 tonnes. With a bending length of 2,600 to 4,100 mm, they cover the requirements of many metal processing companies. Powerful drive units with an output of 5.5 to 11.0 kW provide sufficient power for continuous serial use.
PRECISION LIKE A LARGE MODEL
With a synchronisation tolerance (Y1, Y2) and a linear guide tolerance of the backgauge (X) of just ± 0.01 mm each, ECO BEND models meet the highest demands in terms of parallelism of the bending tools and precise workpiece positioning.
CNC-CONTROLLED
The vertical axes and backgauge are programmed very quickly and easily on the swivelling ER 70 CNC control unit. The 99 bending step repetitions for series and the automatic axis positioning are particularly time-saving.
HIGH PRODUCT SAFETY
CE safety devices such as side guards, side gap covers and a light barrier at the rear of the machine offer optimum safety. Further safety devices are available as optional extras.
BOMBING POSSIBLE
A manual or motorised crowning device for pre-tensioning the lower tool at very high bending capacities is available as an optional extra.
