DSM double grinding machines enable efficient roughing and fine grinding of metal parts and tools such as drills, turning tools, turning irons, mower and chopper blades, chisels, axes, knives, shears etc.

Shaping - regrinding - sharpening
Forming and regrinding involves removing material with the rough grinding wheel to produce a desired shape, contour, surface, or cutting angle. When sharpening, a cutting edge is produced on a contour using the fine grinding wheel. Cutting tools are resharpened by fine grinding (fettling).

DSM W models
Double sanding blocks for easy shaping and sensitive sharpening, ideal for crafts, model making, vocational schools, training and private workshops. Smooth, vibration-free running due to a 230 V double-axle motor with large, precise grinding wheel bearings. Maintenance-free drive: robust, brushless squirrel-cage rotor. Universal: two normal corundum grinding wheels, grain size 36 and 60 or 80, with adjustable and inclinable grinding support and grinding magnifier. Operationally safe due to robust, rotating grinding hoods, large eye protection glasses with spark protection, zero voltage release, CE-compliant.
