Product highlights ELMAG compressor EUROAIR 411/10/50 D
EUROAIR series
EUROAIR 311, 331, 401 and 411 air compressors from ELMAG are excellent entry-level models in the professional class. Thanks to their excellent price/performance ratio, they are also suitable for the discerning DIY enthusiast.
These powerful devices with AC and three-phase motor, V-belt drive, cast iron cylinder, precision high-performance piston, large fan wheel and die-cast aluminium aftercooling (EUROAIR 401 and 411 only) provide sufficient compressed air even for longer power applications. Sufficient compressed air reserves are always available, even for small painting jobs.
The low unit speeds of ONLY 930 to max. 1,450 rpm ensure a long duty cycle, long service life and smooth running.
High performance - low price: EUROAIR!
NEW: Boiler internally coated (improved corrosion protection)
Intake power
The intake capacity is calculated from the cylinder volume and the speed of the compressor. However, the effective delivery rate is decisive for the selection of an air compressor.
Piston compressor technology
A piston compressor consists of one or more cylinders with pistons, driven by a motor. The air is sucked into the cylinder and compressed to the operating pressure in one or more stages. After compression, the compressed air flows through the aftercooler to the compressed air tank.
Oil-lubricated or oil-free compression?
The cylinders, pistons and cranks of an oil-lubricated compressor are lubricated with oil that circulates in the compressor. The compressed air of an oil-lubricated piston compressor contains a certain amount of residual oil, usually 10-15 mg/m^3. Most versions of oil-free piston compressors have permanently lubricated bearings. The pistons have grease-free piston rings, usually made of Teflon or carbon fibre. This type of compressor normally requires bearings and piston rings to be replaced more frequently than oil-lubricated versions. However, the compressed air is free of oil residue.
Areas of application ELMAG compressor EUROAIR 411/10/50 D
Piston compressors are particularly suitable for lower compressed air requirements: single-stage compressors for pressures up to approx. 8-10 bar, multi-stage versions can deliver up to 30 bar.
Utilisation should only be temporary. The utilisation of an air-cooled piston compressor must not exceed 60 %. After 2 minutes of compression, the compressor must rest for at least 1.5 minutes. The total compression time per day should be limited to a maximum of approx. 4 hours.
