PRECISE EXTERNAL AND INTERNAL GRINDING
The CG series cylindrical grinding machines machine shafts and bores to an accuracy of 0.001 mm. They are used for precision grinding of hardened surfaces, external and internal bearing seats, fitting, running and sliding surfaces.
For the production of grinding surfaces on shafts, the rotary spindle is designed to be lockable.
WIDE RANGE OF APPLICATIONS
- The CG cylindrical grinding machines enable the machining of shafts from diameter 8 mm up to 320 mm and bores from 13 mm up to 100 mm.
- By rotating the headstock or the grinding table, grinding angles of up to 45-0-45° or conical runs of up to 3 or 9° can be achieved.
- The grinding length of the automatic longitudinal feed is adjustable. Shorter grinding lengths must be run manually - just as precisely and easily. The maximum permissible workpiece weight is 80/150 kg.
- Infinitely variable speeds offer sufficient leeway for setting an optimum sanding speed. The longitudinal feed speed is infinitely adjustable between 0.1 and 4 m/min.
WITH SINO POSITION INDICATOR
The machines are equipped with a SINO measuring and display system (accuracy 0.001 mm). The grinding wheel can therefore be fed in a controlled and extremely precise manner.
SIMPLE OPERATION
The workpiece is clamped on a three-jaw chuck, on a driving plate or between centres. The tailstock can be closed hydraulically. Thin workpieces are supported by a steady rest.
The machine is equipped with a rapid traverse drive for the longitudinal and transverse axes and offers very easy operation in manual and automatic mode:
- Clamp workpiece

- Set the grinding wheel to the workpiece

- Actuate longitudinal feed manually by means of handwheel or
