Precise external and internal grinding with the runner grinding machine
The CG 500 cylindrical grinding machine machines shafts and bores to an accuracy of 0.001 mm. It is used for precision grinding of hardened surfaces, outer and inner bearing seats, fit, running and sliding surfaces. For the production of grinding surfaces on shafts, the turning spindle is designed to be lockable.
Wide range of application
The CG 500 cylindrical grinding machine enables the machining of shafts from diameter 8 mm to 200 mm and of bores from 13 mm to 100 mm. By rotating the headstock or the grinding table, grinding angles up to 45-0-45° or conical shapes up to 3 or 9° can be achieved. The grinding length of the automatic longitudinal feed can be adjusted to a maximum of 500 mm and a minimum of 125 mm. Shorter grinding lengths must be manually operated - just as precisely and easily. The maximum permissible workpiece weight is 80 kg. Six speed levels provide sufficient scope for setting an optimum grinding speed. The longitudinal feed speed is adjustable between 0.05 and 2m/min.
With Sino position display on the grinding machine
The machine is equipped with a SINO measuring and display system (accuracy 0.001 mm). The grinding wheel is therefore controlled and can be infeeded extremely precisely.
The CG 500 is simply operated
The workpiece is clamped on a three-jaw chuck, on a driver plate or between centres. The tailstock is hydraulically lockable. Thin workpieces are supported by a visual steady rest.
The machine is equipped with a rapid traverse drive for the longitudinal and transverse axis and offers very simple operation in manual and automatic mode:
