Manual and motorized beading machines
Beading machines enable the production of profiles from flat or cylindrical sheets - e.g. the embossing of depressions (beads), which serve to increase rigidity and enable a form-fit longitudinal assembly of pipes. The desired profile is pressed into the sheet metal by means of embossing rollers. The rollers have a positive and a negative profile and can be quickly exchanged. Beading machines are equipped with an adjustable depth stop. The flat or cylindrical sheet metal is pushed through to the stop, the accompanying roller is pressed slightly and the drive roller is set in motion. While the sheet is running through the machine several times, the drive roller is gradually fed in to achieve a sufficiently strong forming (beading, flanging or draw-in depth).
