The URS 32150 PLC universal cylindrical grinding machine is suitable for carrying out external cylindrical grinding work on workpieces up to 320 mm in diameter, with the standard internal grinding device further extending the range of applications. This model is mainly used in mechanical engineering, mould and tool making, but also for small series production in manufacturing.

• The generously dimensioned table can be swivelled in two directions for conical grinding and can be set to the desired position using a scale
• Precisely aligned spindle head and stable grinding headstock to achieve the best possible machining results for a wide range of grinding processes
• The machine base is relatively insensitive to temperature fluctuations and deformation thanks to the strong ribbing and generously dimensioned walls
• Double-sided grinding spindle with three-segmented, adjustable surface slide bearings
• The main spindle is mounted hydrodynamically, i.e. there is no contact between the bearing and spindle due to the oil film
• Infinitely adjustable feeds with optional pre-selectable holding time at the end of each table movement
• Precision-ground and hand-scraped guideways in the x-axis, linear guide in the y-axis
• Longitudinal table guide and wheelhead cross guide, one V and one flat guide each
• Servo drives in the x- and z-axis, work table moves via precise ball screw
