Bernardo PTO 21/1200 Protection device for lathe

• Sliding guard for large lathes, mounting is on the top of the spindle head.
• The model protects the operator from direct contact with rotating parts of the chuck and from flying chips and coolant splashes. The construction consists of a sliding protective screen, which is made of sturdy yet lightweight aluminium.
• The protective screen offers a good view of the workpiece and is made of a special material which is approved for use with safety hoods.
• The protective hood is available in different sizes up to a chuck diameter of 1200 mm and is equipped with a safety microswitch. The design can also be specially made for much larger chucks.
