The TiN- and nACO-coated core drills CDS and CDL are made of high-speed steel and designed for professional use. The sets contain the most commonly used sizes and are optionally available with a drilling depth of 25 and 50 mm (TiN-coated) or 30 mm and 50 mm (nACO-coated). The advantage of core drills over twist drills is that only a narrow ring is cut rather than the entire drilling surface. This means that the amount of force required is much lower.
